All injuries should be reported and documented in the training room with the Athletic Trainer. If the injury happens when the athletic trainer is not at work, the injury needs to be reported the next day, or on Monday if the injury happens over the weekend. If you are referred to a physician, or see a physician, for an injury you sustained, a physician’s note MUST BE PROVIDED to the athletic trainer. The physician’s note should state the injury and its extent, status of return to sporting activity, and any precautions that should be taken regarding the injury. A physician’s note is REQUIRED before being allowed to return to the sporting activity. This is done for the safety of the athletes.
The Athletic Training Room at Burlingame High School is located in the Main Gym building. The primary office is located across from the big gym doors and next to the girl's locker room.
