BHS 2017-2018 Online Handbook Communications

 

BHS Parents’ Group funds three key communication systems used to provide information to our parents, including:

 

SCHOOL LOOP:

Our on-line communication system, personalized for each student with current schedules, posted assignments, grades and email contacts. Important information from departments and daily bulletin announcements are posted on this site as well. We highly recommend that parents check the bulletin announcements to keep in the loop.

 

Each student has a School Loop account. To sign up, you will need your students ID# from report cards or ID card, and you will need to make up a login name and password.

Parents must register by doing the following:

 

  • Log onto www.schoolloop.com and follow these steps:
  • Find Your School
  • Burlingame High School
  • Register Now
  • Parent Registration and fill in the blanks

 

If you go to Account Management on the toolbar, you have the option to receive a daily School Loop email and to allow auto login from email.

 

WEEKLY NEWSLETTER:

  • Please send email to bhs_parents@smuhsd.org to provide information for all Newsletter requests.
  • Published Sunday each week.  Provides timely information for the week, and for the weeks ahead.
  • Includes information about upcoming events and school happenings of interest to parents and families.
  • Submission deadline:  Wednesday 8pm of the preceding week.

HIGHLIGHTS MONTHLY NEWSLETTER:

Highlights, the monthly Parents Group newsletter now exclusively via email, is one of the most important communication tools linking parents to BHS. Highlights has timely messages from the Principal and Parents’ Group Co-Presidents, as well as academic, athletic, club and leadership activity updates.
